Australia - Week 1

Hi! Here I am in the Land Down Unda! Let the good times roll because we're on vacation! I have been spending the last week with my man in his hometown of Terang, Victoria. It is so beautiful here! Nice flat land, where the cows roam! Terang is located 2 hours south-west of Melbourne (which we also spent a couple days visiting family members, and an old "Contiki" friend of mine).

One of the highlights in the last week was visiting the Great Ocean Road. A surreal sight and a dream of mine to see. I was truly blown pun intended. As you can see, the weather in Australia is opposite to Canada at the current moment. However, their winter season is quite nice, and would be a trade-off for the ugly snow and rain any day!

Another lovely thing we have been doing, is visiting Adam's family members. I have had at least 5 cups of tea a day, and tried a variety of special cheeses, crackers and dips. Hello winter fat I thought I lost...
Take a look at what we've been up to :)

Summer Fun with the Fam and Friends

In between my flights to Australia, I put together some photos of the past week I spent in Ontario with family and friends. To spending time at the cottage, the fabulous BBQ's we had, and day spent in Toronto, one week was definitely not enough time to catch up with all the important people in my life!

And then there was the heat! I couldn't be happier with the heat wave that struck us, it is a blessing from God in that it came for this specific week of visiting. It was a-lot-a-bit (my new saying) nicer than all the rain I am used to in Vancouver. :)

Being home this exact wee in July was so necessary for our family. It was the first week in what seems like forever that all family members were home, and I have to say, it does not happen enough :(
I mean, that last time I saw the circus monkey, Mark Beiler was maybe two years ago!

Take a look at what we got up to, it was a lot of fun in the sun!!

Modelling Duo

This week my sister Erin asked if I'd like to take some modelling shots of her friend Zach who is kick starting his career in the industry. I was a little hesitant because I really haven't had much work with models. I always think studio, backdrops, and big flashy lights, which really isn't my thing! So to keep my style of photography, we went for the outdoorsy look I love so much!

Erin also jumped in, to really seal the modelling deal and make it look legit! I think these two make quite the couple, and it looks as if they've been together forever! Who knows, maybe love was in the air today!
