Europe - Bordeaux and Biarritz, France

Welcome to Bordeaux, one of the wine capitals of the world! This city has got it all, an old part of town with castle like arches to welcome you, rivers that stretch where you can bike along them for hours, a shopping district, and the most quaint city square which borders the St. Michel Basilica opening up to restaurants and hosting concerts at night. Formidable!

This was the view from my accommodation! Seriously!

After Bordeaux, I really wanted some old fashion French in my life, the kind where you're completely removed from the hustle and bustle of big cities, and find yourself into more of the culture, drinking wine with a French family. And that's what we did. We drank wine with a fantastic French family. We ate baguettes. I put my French to use. Adam listened and tried to understand. We ate smelly cheese and popped more bottles. Yes, I am talking about Biarritz, France. Close to the Spanish border, and not your typical touristy destination...unless of course you are a surfer.

Here's Biarritz, France. A delicious slide of French heaven. And I want to go back. Now.
