North Vancouver Family Photography - McIntosh Family

It was such a pleasure meeting the McIntosh Family over the weekend! I feel in the limited time we spent together, I got to know a part of each of them, and what a unique bunch! Their two sons, Jordan and Jamie have made their life "full, bright and a little crazy" coming from their Mother, Michelle. Jordan, is 14-years old, and a competitive swimmer and just so happens to love his 6-day-a-week training schedule. And Jamie is a budding Taekwondo master in the making! He just earned himself a blue belt. When I told him I work at Holy Trinity School, his eyes lit up and he said, "I just did my Taekwondo testing there!" I told him, he should probably just enrol at our school :) Wouldn't that be fun Jamie?

Now I have to say, these parents are quite the duo! Chris has the unique job of a Sound Engineer and owns his own business in the heart of Gastown! In the short time I got to know him, I enjoyed hearing about some of the local actors and actresses we know of, and how cool is job is! He gets to play with sound for a living :)

And Michelle, is a woman in transit at the moment! After she just lost 75 pounds (YES 75!!!) in the last year and a half, she is entering a new phase of her life. She told me that losing weight is not just about knowing what we put in our bodies, but it is about our inner relationship with food and the psychological aspect of food and eating. She attributes her success to a great deal of inner work combined with a plan that is specialized to the individual driven by Lisa Carpenter from the EAT Program. Michelle is now preparing and studying to become a coach herself! She hopes to be coaching people like her who struggle with weight issues to learn about the relationship with food and learn about what is really going on inside of them. Michelle, I have to say - you are beautiful inside and out and I can't wait to see more of your journey to come!
