Tofino / Ucluelet May long weekend - A Personal Post

Lately I've been all about exploring my beautiful B.C. backyard. Being originally from Ontario, I still find myself in awe of just how green it is here. So what do you get when four friends pack their bags and head to Tofino? A killer-good time! Beside the long wait which occurred at the ferry terminal (our bad - no reservation!) we headed to Vancouver Island for an explorers-like weekend.

For the first time, we hiked the Pacific Rim trail, and Lighthouse Loop in Ucluelet, and I will just say this, I 'll be doing it every time I make a visit! Check out all the beauty the coast line has to offer! I couldn't get over the lush forest and waves breaking. And every twist and turn allows you to see a new unique terrain.

One must do is to stop off at Zoe's Bakery Cafe in Ucluelet, best tasty treats and coffee you'll ever have, and cutest picturesque setting

The boys went surfing of course, while the girls chatted it up over our favorite brewskis from Tofino Brewing Company.

Finally, to top it all off, and just when you think it couldn't possibly get any better, your drive back to Nanimo, you're hit with a view like this!
